Kinesiology Tape

Kinesiology Tape has been around for a number of years and has grown with popularity lately with professional athletes and gym junkies.  Anyone can use this tape as it is hypersensitive, latex and zinc free if you have injured any muscle, ligament or tendon in your body. This versatile tape can help with the following:

  • Recovery for muscle strain and cramping
  • Reduces the impact of joint and tendons and promotes circulation of blood to aid recovery
  • Protects movement of joints, fascia, muscles and ligaments

Instructions

  1. Clean the area first as the tape can stay on the body for up to five days even when you shower.
  2. Cut the tape to size according to your requirements.
  3. Naturally stick the tape on the skin, pulling it out slightly, pressing down to enhance fixing. You should be able to fix this yourself but you may need help if you are applying to the back and shoulders.
  4. You can swim and shower with this tape still intact as it is waterproof and breathable.  Just towel dry afterwards.
  5. This should last for up to 4 days in tact. Replace as and when necessary.
